Four tools. One person.

If the 8 S's are how we see the whole woman, the Four Pathways are how we treat her.

Clinical Pathways

These pathways are not a ladder, they are a toolbox. I teach clinicians to hold all four simultaneously and choose what belongs in this plan, for this patient, at this moment. You are not a protocol. Neither is the person sitting across from you.

Pathway 01

Lifestyle Medicine

The most underestimated pathway. Sleep, movement, nutrition, stress reduction are powerful enough to shift hormone balance, bone density, and inflammatory load before anything else is added.

Pathway 02

Nutraceuticals

Strategic supplementation to avoid pill fatigue. Vitamin D, magnesium, omega-3s, and emerging compounds chosen with evidence and intention. Food first. Supplements when we know their value.

Pathway 03

Hormone Therapy

Always a conversation, never a requirement. Estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone explored carefully, individualized completely, and monitored throughout. The timing, the person, and the history all matter enormously.

Pathway 04

Prescriptions

Non-hormonal options have a real and important place for sleep, mood, bone protection, and vasomotor symptoms. Selected with the same care and precision as everything else in the plan.

You are an n of one. What works beautifully for one person may not be ideal for another. I teach clinicians to hold that truth in every single encounter.
— Melissa Rietz, on precision medicine

Care becomes clearer when we stop forcing one answer and start asking which pathway belongs to this person, in this season, with this story.
